Hey Jim, Great to hear from a US hangie! I've seen so many great
youtube vids from your region it looks incredible. My mate just
moved to LA and I was hoping to visit him soon and do some flying
when I'm there. How easy is it to rent a wing and fly in the
region? When would be a good time to go? Tom

Hey Tom.... Good to hear from you! No doubt we do have a lot of
good flying around here... We are a lucky bunch, and we know it!
Pack your bags and pay us a visit. Summer is the most consistant
part of the year, but not the best time of year for epic
conditions. Early Spring and late Fall offer up some truly great
flying, but its hit and miss at best. Both Sylmar and Chrestline
are flyable most of the year... Except for January/Febuary and a
potintial El Nino event, getting some airtime is usually not a
problem. As far as equipment is concerned, Joe Greblo at Windsports
(818 367-2430) would be the guy to talk to. He will no doubt take
care of all your needs.
