HG towing in Norfolk.wmv

eg: stopmotion, new-york, street
Recently did my tow conversion in Norfolk. Apart from one flight at Merthyr it is the first time I have flown this glider, Aeros Target 16, and these are my first flights in 4 years. Note the white knuckles!! To get the tow conversion done in the time I had I needed to get back on the ground again as soon as I could which is why I was flying so fast. When I waved it was at my wife in the camper below. Filmed on a GoPro Hd. The base bar is not bent it just looks that way!! Comments are welcome

looks good! that field looks familiar - I camped there when I was doing my tow course with Lejair last year

what camera are you using? nice picture, but it makes you basebar look bent ;)

Hi Andyh oddly enough Tony and Rhonna (?) were at the field when I did my tow conversion. Camera was a Hero HD on a helmet mount and yes it does make the base bar look bent!

I've just purchased the ContourHD, doesn't have quite a wide angle as the Hero (hence my choice) so not so much bending effect... well, excluding the odd bad landing! I'll be posting some video soon!
